**PARENTAL ADVISORY – You might want to listen to this week’s episode without children around. It is not tacky, it is just a frank, adult discussion with some fun drizzled throughout**
Would you strip in front of an audience? If so, why? If not, why not?
Tonight we delve into the art of striptease with Nona Mona and Dante Rossi.
We learn about the hard work behind the scenes and the risks on stage from drunken and bad behaviour during the Clipsal 500 week to ladies scratching and biting male models during private dances at hen’s nights. We also hear about the fun and the good times. Just remember, when tipping – it’s notes or it’s nothing!

Miss Nona Mona
Listeners to The Adelaide Show will have already met Miss Nona Mona. She is one third of The Show PBA-FM and a champion burlesque performer.
Tonight she reveals another side of herself as we gaze upon the world of striptease, which is built upon her consummate execution of burlesqe.
With a dash of silly, a splash of cheek and a whole lot of sexy, Nona Mona commands crowds with her award winning burlesque performances and has been crowned Miss Burlesque South Australia 2014, Miss Burlesque Australia Miss Pin Up 2014 and Miss Burlesque Adelaide 2013.
She has a dry sense of humour and a frank honesty, so be prepared for anything!
Other accolades include, Miss Firm Australia 1st runner up 2015, Judge: Miss Burlesque SA 2015, Miss Burlesque South Australia 2014 (we interviewed her around this time, listen here: Adelaide Undressed), Miss Burlesque Australia Miss Pin Up 2014, Miss Burlesque Adelaide 2013, performed at London Burlesque Festival 2015, and returning in 2016, part time teacher at Peaches ‘n’ Gin Burlesque Academy, and she is a feature showgirl at Adelaide’s premier gentleman’s club.
Male striptease artist
Our male striptease artist is Dante Rossi, proud founder and creator of Dante Entertainment, Australia’s premier and award winning adult entertainment agency.
Voted ”Best Strip Tease Agency 2014 in the Australian Adult Industry Awards”, current Winner of Best Male Stripper and Alpha Male award in the 2015 Australian Adult Industry Awards and Featured in Penthouse Black Label Magazine Oct/Nov 2015 Edition.
Recently, Dante launched Adelaide’s newest and hottest show, Dante’s All Male Revue, “where fantasy meets reality”, and Dante will explain why he believes it is Adelaide’s ultimate GIRLS NIGHT OUT & HEN’S PARTY destination.
Dante has many years experience in the adult entertainment industry, starting in his late teens, and he’s still performing as one of the highest ranking entertainers in Australia.
Dante owes much of his success to his mentor and friend Joseph Farrugia AKA Madame Josephine.
Madame Josephine’s is Adelaide’s longest running all male strip show venue which has been running 18 in Hindley Street.
Dante has toured countrywide with “The Sydney Hotshots”, Australia’s only national male revue touring act.
We will be working through many of Dante’s stories and also trying to understand the ‘business’ side of striptease, to which Dante argues, success only comes to those who have awork ethic, passion and enjoy what they do.
He says, the key to success in the entertainment industry is passion, presentation and professionalism.
