It started with a zen photo and turned into a decanterthon.
At the SocADL Xmas break up, Steve Davis won a twin pack of d’Arry’s Original wine due to this photo.
After double decanting, this wine drank very nicely in episode 016 with very firm structure, restrained fruit – overall a solid performer.
We think it is the basket press and the nine months in oak that helped develop this structure and character and we also think we drank this way too young at three years old.
