thorn-clark-quartage Photo Steve DavisAlthough separated by 3000km, the boys all enjoyed this four-way red wine blend from the Barossa Valley on Episode 030.

Thorn-Clarke blends together Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot and Malbec into a very tidy drop.

This picture is of the wine in question on a balcony in Darwin overlooking the Vintage Cellars store where Steve bought it from Sue (our Adelaide Visa winning Darwinite for services to South Australia and the wine industry).

Both Colin and Steve noted that the wine really opened up on the second day of being opened.

Steve got sultanas and a port-ishness, and Colin was most moved by the smoothness and also commented on a dusty characteristic on the palate.

This wine will not disappoint and the four legs will let the winemakers continue to adapt and maintain quality vintage after vintage.
