Week 3 of Adelaide Hills whites vs McLaren Vale reds at The Arkaba Hotel brought us another superb drop, the 2010 Scarpantoni Estate Block 3 Shiraz in McLaren Vale of course.
As you’ll hear in episode 69, this wine is silken.
Both boys were struck by its enticing aroma but then Steve got swirls of Ribena on his palate followed by an aftermath of licorice.
Colin concurred and both noted hints of mint but that was after reading the back label and then discerning it (do labels plant suggestions in our minds?).
