Is Adelaide as progressive as it should be or once was? Does that matter? How would we achieve it if we wanted to?
These are questions that local entrepreneur, Ryan Kris, pictured having a wine bottle passed to him, has wrestled with and he joins us this week to share his 5 ideas for a progressive Adelaide.
In short, Ryan thinks it would help to:
- Relax dry zone regulations
- Hold an Adelaide music festival
- Create a city beach
- Form creative precincts
- Reduce car dependency
It’s a great chat, informed by Ryan’s recent sojourn to Denmark for a study elective.
We’re also joined by 4 year old Caitlin Davis, yes, Steve’s daughter. She answers a few questions about what it’s like to go to childcare. You will have heard her voice in some episodes reminding you you’re listening to our podcast.
One more James Haselgrove Wine, this week a Sauvignon Blanc from Blackbilly with guest wine judge, Rachel Forrest.
Brett Monten sends a note from China
Is It News returns, including your chance to play at home.
And our musical favourite, Courtney Robb, returns with a new song.
