This drop from Wolf Blass, part of the Treasury Estates international wine conglomerate, will knock your socks off (as we discovered during the podcast).

While we do enjoy trying wines from the various, passionate, boutique producers in South Australia, it is good to know you always have a few stalwarts you can rely on.

Brett pointed out that having one million litre tanks in which to make wine, does help the team of winemakers at Wolf Blass maintain consistency from vintage to vintage.

It also lets them produce high calibre wines like this Grey Label and its ‘next one up’ Black Label, along with Red and Yellow Label low level wines.

Typical of Shiraz, the boys got fruit and spice on the palate (Steve suggested red berries) and it was given a hearty thumbs up.
