Deep in Peter Drew’s art studio for episode 101, we opened a museum released bottle of Rymill Cabernet Sauvignon from 2009.

This gorgeous example of Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon was a masterpiece.

Broad brush strokes of black and red fruits, tinged with hints of eucalyptus, gradually give way to soft, crisp tannins.

Another word that was used to describe the wine was silken.

This is indeed a smooth wine and age has been its friend.

You can hear our live tasting about six minutes in.
