We tasted it in episode 72 and Steve was quite surprised by how enjoyable it was, despite being a ‘red man’.

He noted aromas of passionfruit on the nose, triggering boyhood memories of growing up among passionfruit vines.

On the palate, it was a delightful array of tropical fruits leading to a gentle, crisp finish.

Steve noted that Philip White gave this wine 92 points, which is high praise indeed, and like Sauv Blancs from previous vintages, this one has already racked up two medals.
