Lady Bay Vineyard 2010 Tempranillo

Lady-Bay-Tempranillo-notesColin surprised us all with this wine.

Tempranillo is a Spanish grape variety often made into easy drinking wines that accompany relaxed food like tapas and pizza.

However, this example from Lady Bay Vineyard at Yankalilla is quite impressive.

It is bursting with fruit while being disciplined by herbal characteristics, giving it a pedigree that should demand respect.

Seriously, Steve admitted he usually avoids Tempranillo but said this one was going straight on his must buy list.

Allen and Kelen Brister deserve much kudos for this wine.

Thank you!
