Courtney Robb’s song Circles reminds me of what Jason Mraz has been doing recently with the Ukelele and general songwriting (think of “I’m Yours”). Because of that, the song has an ‘up’ feel, which is an interesting contrast to what the lyrics is actually about. Courtney is actually, very politely and genuinely raising her middle finger to anyone who tried to categorise her by seeing one aspect of what she does.

If since met and heard Courtney at a couple of other events around town and this song is by no means all she has to offer. She is a genuine talent.
