According to their Facebook ‘about’ tag, Gorilla Jones is an energetic upbeat blend of soul/jazz/New Orleans/Kung Fu! Apart from the obvious energy, the lead vocals are pretty damn strong.
I included this song because it’s simply good fun. The drums and vocals is very reminiscent of Golden Earring and ‘Radar love’ and several other 70’s bands with a horn section. The energy with the horns also reminded me of Cat Empire.
There’s not too much to say about this band or track – it’s just , well, FUN. Enjoy.
