A few weeks ago, we revoked the Adelaide Visa of Aspire Magazine.
We did it because they ran some social media saying, #Adelaide’s so boring, nothing ever happens! Right? WRONG! See why here // bit.ly/1HW1owC #SouthAustralia pic.twitter.com/JrvghM8wLX
Well, they took issue at us taking issue at them, so tonight we’ll ‘duke it out’.
We’ll also dive into the pages and find out what Aspire Magazine is all about.
Our sponsor this week is Indian Root Pill.
In IS IT NEWS, Nigel tests us on the theme, Boring In and Around Adelaide.
Max Martin from iNform Health and Fitness Solutions – has his Made To Move Minute:
Our SA Drink of the week is from the Mars Needs range from Muster Wines.
Music is Space Friends by Jordan Slattery.
We have a packed Adelaide Visa Council with three defendants.

John Bannon, former premier, died this week. We add him to the SA Register. In a thoughtful piece in InDaily, a theme captured by former Attorney-General and friend of John Bannon, Chris Sumner, makes this point: “In a personal sense, he was a very careful person; he looked after the state’s resources very carefully, he was quite frugal in his own personal habits with public monies and the like, he travelled economy class in Australia… “The State Bank collapse set aside all that good work… The legacy of the Bannon Government can’t ignore the bank and all the implications of that, but while he took personal and political responsibility for it, I think in personal terms he really took the whole responsibility somewhat unjustly.” Question: Is it worth being self-sacrificial? |

Aspire Magazine is a free, glossy publication that embraces the weird and is more interested in what goes on in local communities, laneways and over the back fence than celebrity. So in pursuit of irony, we are going to thrust its editor, Sky Harrison and in-house writer Ellen Morgan into the celebrity spotlight. Will this exclude them from being covered in their own magazine? Something to ponder. | |
