2 Cats On A Hot Fringe Roof – Audience Review Night Two

An audience that doodles together, croodles together, and that’s just what night two’s audience did at 2 Cats On A Hot Fringe Roof.

Strangers met downstairs at tables to eat, but as the Mr Squiggle doodle cards were handed around, they bonded and laughed as they shared the 2 Cats’ sharpies.

This camaraderie was brought upstairs into the performance space and was soon erupting into the heartiest laughs of the season thus far.

Ironically, the last members of the audience to make it upstairs with seconds to spare before start time, were all part of a group from Adelaide’s premiere bus charter company. Perhaps they just have arriving at destinations down to a fine art!

The experiment of structured heckling continued and, sadly, one member of the audience, one of the official hecklers, went overboard by using his heckle a second time. This rash and reckless action by Mr Terzic, was the only blemish on what was a sterling performance by a disparate group of strangers who had created a very polished ensemble.

Once again, some creative doodling countered the loss of points, along with the audience’s burst of creativity, turning some pretty obscure squiggles into some intriguing images.
