Half a million show goers can’t be wrong! One of the world’s most successful Shows, the Royal Adelaide Show, opens its gates this Friday and will run over two weekends. Around 500,000 people are expected to do what South Australians have done since 1840, and spend some time at “the show”. Tonight, we have former chairman of The Royal Adelaide Show, Richard Fewster and current general manager of the Royal Adelaide Show and Adelaide Wine Show, Michelle Hocking.
We discuss
- How to get the most out of a Show visit
- Why the Show began
- Why exhibitors keep coming
- How the Show board keeps it all relevant
- What people get up to on the Ferris Wheel
