The Timbers are a great Celtic styled outfit, similar in sound to The Shambolics. It’s alsways hard to apply a genre to yourself, but they’ve had a go with “High energy alternative folk”. I’ve seen them at the Wheaty and they were continually changing instruments and are a very capable outfit of musicians.
This song, Gallantry, is a real call to arms/forweard into battle type song. As I understand it, the Sea Shepherd crew play this as a rallying song before they launch into a confrontation. This track is a real rollicking tub-thumper; turn it up and stomp along!
