Kersbrook Hill 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon tasting notes

Kersbrook Hill 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon tasting notes on The Adelaide Show Podcast

These Kersbrook Hill 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon tasting notes were created during a live tasting for The Adelaide Show Podcast 164.

This wine was the red wine being served to VIPs at the recent Bay To Birdwood at the National Motor Museum.

In keeping with the car parlance of the night, Steve described this as a “road trip” of a wine, picking up on Michael Neale’s observation that you would be disappointed having only one bottle of this.

He suggested it would be wise to buy a few so you can take one out every couple of years and enjoy the change.

The most common comment about this wine from the panel was how well balanced and tightly packed it is.

Steve said, in keeping with the road trip analogy, that the fruit, spice and tannins were all tightly and neatly packed like luggage in the trunk of a vintage car.

And, indeed, just like a road trip, it is best to experience it rather than read about it so our suggestion is to find some of this Cabernet Sauvignon and have a tasting as you listen to our live tasting, a few minutes in on the player below.
