We tasted it in episode 73 and the first thing that occurred to Susan was potato. Susan and Colin both had potato notes, something Steve didn’t find nor had he ever found in a wine.
Steve picked up a trace of pineapple, a little creaminess on the palate and a crisp finish.
We were all struck by the pale gold, shimmering in the glass.
It is heartening to note that Chain of Ponds did manage to survive the recent bushfires and all systems are go again. In fact, the winery has been busy raising funds for the CFS with winemaker dinners. Yet another reminder that wine is a natural product, subject to the cycles of nature.
Hear the gang taste this wine.
