Unfortunately, we didn’t have the full glassware we normally do but the wine held up surprisingly well.
It was soft, almost silken, and delivered some stewed fruit on the palate.
After some questions and answers, we discerned it was a Clare Valley Shiraz.
And what surprised us was its youth; one year old but drinking with some maturity.
This is a wine that over delivers at its price point.
