Chain Of Ponds 2009 The Amadeus Cabernet Sauvignon

In episode 81, the South Australian Drink Of The Week was The Amadeus, a 2009 Cabernet Sauvignon from Chain Of Ponds wines in the Adelaide Hills.

As you can see in the picture, Steve got into the Amadeus spirit!

This is a beautifully smooth cabernet sauvignon that hits all the right notes and has every element in perfect harmony.

Nigel got some blackberry on his palate and both enjoyed the subtle tannins at the finish.

Steve is a big fan of Coonawarra Cabernet but is adamant that this Cab Sauv needs to be tried to broaden one’s appreciation for classic Cabernet styles.
